World Health Organization experts see obesity as the number one challenge in public health, in the 21st century, and the worrying evolution of the phenomenon over the past two decades comes as a confirmation and a wake-up call to the need for rapid and effective action.
Unfortunately, today, more and more people are adopting an unbalanced eating behavior, and the consequences translate into the worrying number of overweight people or those with various digestive or cardiovascular complications. Obesity is more than a problem of image or social integration. It is a chronic disease that can cause real medical problems.
